1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the MTS Car Rental website and all car rental services provided by MTS Car Rental in the Republic of Armenia.

By submitting a booking request, signing a rental agreement at pickup, or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

2. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

To rent a vehicle from MTS Car Rental you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age at the time of rental.
• Hold a valid driving licence recognised in Armenia for the vehicle category rented.
• Provide a valid government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID).
• Provide accurate contact details when booking online or in person.
• Meet any additional requirements stated on your official rental letterhead at pickup.

3. Bookings & Reservations

Online bookings submitted through our website create a reservation request. A booking is confirmed only after MTS Car Rental reviews and accepts it.

We may contact you by phone or email to verify details before confirmation. Vehicle availability is subject to change until your booking is confirmed.

You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and return dates, contact information, and driver details.

4. Pricing, Deposits & Payment

Prices shown on the website are indicative and may not reflect the final rental amount.

Final pricing, deposit requirements, insurance options, mileage limits, fuel policy, and payment terms are provided on official MTS letterhead when you collect the vehicle.

You agree to pay all charges listed on the rental agreement, including extensions, late returns, fuel shortages, cleaning fees, traffic fines, and damage costs where applicable.

5. Vehicle Pickup & Return

• Present your driving licence, ID, and booking reference at pickup.
• Inspect the vehicle with our team and report any existing damage before departure.
• Return the vehicle on the agreed date, time, and location unless an extension has been approved in writing.
• Return the vehicle in substantially the same condition as at pickup, subject to normal wear.
• Late returns may incur additional daily charges as stated on your rental letterhead.

6. Driver Responsibilities

• Obey all traffic laws and road regulations in Armenia.
• Do not allow unauthorised drivers to operate the vehicle.
• Do not use the vehicle for illegal activity, racing, off-road use (unless explicitly permitted), or commercial hire without approval.
• Report accidents, theft, or mechanical issues to MTS Car Rental and the police immediately.
• Do not leave the vehicle unattended with keys inside or in unsafe locations.

7. Insurance & Damage

Insurance coverage and excess/deductible amounts are explained on your official rental letterhead at pickup.

You remain responsible for damage, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period to the extent not covered by the selected insurance package.

MTS Car Rental may charge repair, recovery, or replacement costs in accordance with the signed rental agreement.

8. Cancellations & Modifications

You may cancel or modify a booking by contacting MTS Car Rental at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup, no-shows, or failure to provide required documents may result in fees as stated on your rental letterhead.

MTS Car Rental may cancel a booking if the vehicle becomes unavailable, payment cannot be verified, or the renter fails to meet eligibility requirements.

9. Prohibited Use

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Transporting hazardous materials without written permission.
• Towing other vehicles unless the rented car is approved for that use.
• Cross-border travel without prior written approval from MTS Car Rental.
• Any use that voids insurance or violates Armenian law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Armenian law, MTS Car Rental is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or rental services.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability. Displayed vehicle photos and specifications are for guidance and may vary slightly from the assigned vehicle.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.

Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal legal remedies. Courts in Yerevan, Armenia shall have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
