Three things move the price more than anything else. Longer rentals reduce the effective daily rate, so booking a full week rather than three separate days is usually cheaper. Smaller vehicles cost less to rent and noticeably less to fuel, which adds up quickly on a drive to Tatev or Gyumri. And booking ahead matters in summer, because July and August are peak season and the cheapest cars go first.
A lower rate does not mean an older or less reliable vehicle. Every car in our fleet is inspected, maintained and insured before each rental, whichever class you choose. The difference is engine size, cabin space and equipment — not the standard of preparation, or the level of support you get if something goes wrong.
