Yerevan is compact and easy to navigate, with wide avenues and paid street parking marked in blue. A compact or economy car is usually the most practical choice inside the city. If you plan day trips to Garni, Geghard or Lake Sevan, a sedan gives you more comfort on the highway, while mountain routes toward Dilijan or Tatev are better suited to an SUV.
